Cara is a Professional Certified Coach (PCC) with the International Coach Federation (ICF). The ICF is regarded as setting the globally recognised gold standard in coaching. Being awarded PCC status means Cara has undertaken rigorous training and assessment which will reassure you about her coaching experience and professionalism. There are less than 400 PCC coaches in the UK.
With an MA from Cambridge University, Cara then worked in London as a Chartered Surveyor (RICS) for international London-based companies like CBRE. After an epiphany moment, Cara realised that developing people not property is her passion and where her natural strengths lie. Since 2010, she has been helping executives, private clients and business owners to resolve challenges and achieve that winning balance between their own needs and what work and other people in their lives demand of them.
Expert at creating a calm, confidential and neutral environment, Cara is a coach who you can trust. A caring professional with no agenda in the decision-making process other than what’s right for you. Using a process that gets quick, effective results, Cara knows how to make the changes last and is her own best case study – she has been through her own career change, long term illness, bereavement and divorce – proving that you can always change your stars and successfully deal with life’s curve balls.
Cara has 3 sons and a gorgeous Springer Spaniel called Google. She lives in the beautiful South Downs near Chichester where she loves walking along the vast and breathtaking Wittering Beach before heading home to light a fire and share a glass of wine and food with friends. Cara also loves going to musicals (because she hasn’t a musical note in her head herself), doing Sudoku (to soothe her brain that loves numbers and patterns) and is a mindfulness convert (you will need to stop her evangelising about the benefits!). She has also cycled 500 miles in week round France and been to Croatia and back riding pillion on a Motorbike.
Cara is on the External Panel of Coaches at Accenture. She also works as an Associate Coach for Sixth Sense Consulting, Wondrous, Emerging Women and Voice At The Table (Diversity and Inclusion strategy consultancy).
Cara meets clients in London and Goodwood, West Sussex and also coaches via telephone and Skype.
Cara is the type of person to whom you instantly want to pour out your heart. She is warm, clever, competent and positive. She can make a difference to a person’s outlook and direction almost instantly. While being the ultimate professional in every way, she is also authentic and real. With a strong work ethic and great coaching experience, Cara offers the complete package.
